Standard's Process Antronex® 1100 contains yakriton, a bovine liver fat extract first discovered by Japanese researchers, which supports the body's normal detoxification mechanisms by supporting the liver.  In addition to yakriton, Antronex® contains calcium, which in conjunction with yakriton, supports the functioning of white blood cells, to help support the body's natural immune system function.  Calcium is an essential mineral that can be lacking in the diets for certain individuals, including women, the elderly, adolescents and those who are lactose intolerant.
